Installation with photographs, video, and audio excerpts from interviews 

This installation shows self portraits created by fourteen women who attended the workshop “Lo que elijo de mí misma”, held in the Spring of 2018 led by Luiza Folegatti at the Latin American women’s center “Xochicuicatl” in Berlin. Over the course of four months, the gatherings functioned as explorations over the photography media to represent life stories crossed by migration. The installation also shows interviews as the participants are making their pictures and reflecting on the relationship they developed with image making and self representation.
